Original lithography print of a Japanese Buddhism temple named ZENKOJI, published in Taisho 12 (1923). You can find the release year printed on the left bottom of the map. Buddhism-style Zenkoji buildings and worshippers are printed and vividly hand-painted.
Zenkoji is a Buddhism temple in Nagano prefecture with over 1400 years of history. It doesn't have particular sects and welcomes all believers. Therefore Zenkoji has been admired all over Japan, and it's said you can rebirth in paradise if you visit Zenkoji even once in a lifetime.
